What is the Supernatant? And why is it important?
Supernatant (or as some call it postbiotic or parabiotic) is the fermented “soup” that probiotics create when they grow.
In other words, it is what they excrete out. Supernatant is in essence the metabolic byproducts of a natural process of fermentation and growth.
This ‘soup’ contains powerful probiotic metabolites: enzymes, such as bile hydrolase, lactase, and others, peptides, proteins, vitamins, short chain fatty acids, bacteriocins, biosurfactants, microRNA or ORNs, and other nutritional substances.
These properties can exert antioxidant, antimicrobial, and immunomodulatory effects, creating microbiota homeostasis and a host of other benefits to our hormones, neurology, and cellular functions (Aguilar-Toalá et al., 2018).
Supernatant is the power behind the new emerging research on immune-biotics: the antimicrobial qualities exerted by probiotics and their metabolites (Arena et al., 2018).
Natural and Whole, the Supernatant is not easy to produce, but is worth the effort, and the clinical results speak for themselves.

Research and Our World: Peace
One of the reason I am engaged in the research of global peace is that I believe and argued in my dissertation that peace is part of our DNA, it is woven within us, and guides us, although it is difficult to see and believe it is truly part of us. We believe that human beings are built for selfish pursuits and are part of the survival of the fittest theory (Charles Darwin). But, No. Peace is in fact a sleeping giant within us, slowly awakening as we mature in our journey as a global society. We will continue to chat about this...
