Research and Our World: Peace
Is there such a thing as a negative or positive peace?
According to Johan Galtung (1967) - negative peace is just the absence of war, but positive peace includes cooperation, happiness, justice, and mutual development. It is a state of affairs that honors the freedom of human beings.
Keep this in mind when we go back to chat about Kantian universal laws for peace.
