What is the evidence that Fructo Borate support reduction of C-reactive protein levels?
In 2013, the objective of Militaru et al.’s study was to evaluate the effects of short-term (60-d) oral supplementation with fructo borate, resveratrol , and their combination with stable angina patients. There was a significant decrease of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in all groups. This decrease was greater (39.7% at 60 d) in the Fructo Borate alone group, followed by the resveratrol plus fructo borate group (30.3% at 60 d).
As you can see from ongoing research studies in the references, the Fructo Borate by itself has demonstrable health benefits. Boron is critical for the proper functioning of many important metabolic pathways. The problem is the top soil in many areas of the world is depleted in boron which means that the crops produced from such soil will be deplete in boron. Supplementing with a boron supplement such as the Fructo Borate makes sense.
