Guilleminault et al. (2017) researched the impact of diet on asthma risk and asthma control. The key question for clinicians is whether a mediterranean diet, with plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds could benefit patients with asthma.
The research team found that higher intakes of fruits and vegetables had a positive impact on asthma risk and asthma control.
