Our new Chromium has arrived!
The formula 9 times stronger, with 50mcg of elemental trivalent chromium per capsule (6mcg in the old chromium), and with high active beet root, standardized to 10,000ppm nitrate.
The new Chromium is also trivalent: the ligand on each of the chromium ion ports is a molecule of nicotinic acid (in other words, niacin), in contrast to the nucleotide sugars from brewers’ yeast.
The supplemental facts on the label lists only the weight of the elemental chromium (50mcg), rather than the whole Chromium polynicotinate molecule, which is 500mcg.
The High Active Beet Root is also very powerful: it is standardized to offer a minimum of 10,000ppm plant nitrate. Our bodies convert plant nitrate into nitric oxide, an important nutrient that relaxes blood vessel muscles, opening up circulation. And of course, the high active beet root offers betalains, a unique polyphenolic molecule in beet root with very strong antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties.
