James Joseph and Barbara Shukitt-Hale have aptly demonstrated the use and application of blueberries as therapeutic agents for reversing and preventing brain aging.
For several decades James Joseph was the lead scientist and lab chief for the Laboratory of Neuroscience at Tufts University. In 2005 Dr. Joseph helped us to develop our Blueberry Extract Supplement.
Our pure Blueberry Extract, from the cultivar Vaccinium corymbosum, offers an especially high yield of a broad spectrum of anthocyanins, and proanthocyanadins. With our advanced extraction technology we are able to capture 100% of these important flavonoids from each berry.
Each capsule contains 500mg of this precious extract, equivalent to one and a quarter cups of blueberries. In fact, it takes 80 lbs. of blueberries to get 1 lb. of this extract! It is the most potent product of its kind in the market.
