Phyto Power delivers broad-spectrum Flavonoid Power
Dear Friends
Flavonoids and polyphenols are the missing ingredients for our health today in this rapidly changing, highly stressed, industrialized world we live in.
Broad spectrum flavonoid coverage and their subsequence multi-dimensional benefits as described below is what BioImmersion Phyto Power is all about. And, it should be considered a centerpiece to your flavonoid supplemental regime.
No matter how old you are, begin now to protect your body from cancer, coronary heart disease, diabetes, obesity and immune system deficiencies.
Research on the health aspects of flavonoids for humans is expanding rapidly. Many flavonoids are shown to have anti-oxidative activity, free-radical scavenging capacity, [anti-inflammatory capabilites, hepatoprotective features], beneficial attributes for coronary heart disease prevention, and anticancer activity, while some flavonoids exhibit [potential antiviral activity]—[even] the potential for anti-human immunodeficiency virus [HIV-1] functions.

Fruits and vegetables are the main dietary sources of flavonoids for humans along with tea and wine. Is there any wonder why so many Americans have a flavonoid deficiency!
Since flavonoids are directly associated with human dietary ingredients and health, there is need to evaluate structure and function relationships. S. Kumar and A.K. Pandey in their article, Chemistry and Biological Activities of Flavonoids: An Overview, does just that. (see Scientific World Journal 2013, Dec 29).
Sincerely yours,

The Last Quiz Answer:
Not totally sure about the identification of this African bird of prey. I think that it is an African Goshawk (Accipiter tachiro). Their eyes can be yellow or red like this one. These are tenacious short-winged hawks that are commonly used in the sport of falconry. It’s an avian expert at pursuing prey through the thick woodlands in which it likes to live. See its skill of flight.
Last week we highlighted La Via Campesina, the international peasants’ movement—and I said they were a billion members strong. Must have been my wish, but their membership is at 200 million. Still, that’s a lot of people who are being guided into farming with nature (as apposed to working against her) through methods such as agro-ecology and permaculture. I have a treat for you here in the link—A Farm for the Future. Do take the time to watch this beautiful documentary, you’ll be amazed and enlightened.
