Our Beloved Seann Bardell's Passing and the Path Ahead

I am writing today to share some sad news.

My beloved business partner and partner in life, Seann Bardell, passed away on January 9, 2022, at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. Seann had been fighting an infection in his liver that we discovered too late.

I am so grateful that we were able to look at each other’s eyes during his last few hours, sharing love and light. I spent the past eight weeks grieving this incredible loss and reflecting on the many gifts Seann and I shared through our life and work. Now it is time to share the news of his passing with all of you. I hope to reach out to everyone individually, call-by-call, as I am able.

Friends have suggested we celebrate Seann’s love of our planet and all its living creatures by establishing a place online where donations can be made in his memory. We have selected the community-owned Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Kenya, one of the places we had hoped to visit this year as we celebrated our 41st anniversary with close friends. Ever the Zoologist, I am sure many of you remember Seann’s beautiful photos of creatures, photos that he included in every one of his emails.

As per Seann’s wishes and mine, BioImmersion will resume its current level of operations, with plans to add powerful new supplements that we had been working on for the past few years and expand our contract manufacturing. We will also introduce a 10-part virtual education series focused on Rebuilding Your Health: Body, Mind, and Soul that was near completion when Seann fell ill.

Although Seann and I ran BioImmersion as a team for 18 years, many of you know I completed my PhD in 2017 with Seann covering more of the business day-to-day to enable it. Our intention was to work together for a couple of years when I was done and then for him to pursue his PhD which he started to move toward two years ago as I took over the day-to-day.

Life has adjusted our plans but not our vision. What guides me now is our team, our community, Seann’s ever-present wisdom, and our lifelong commitment to providing the best health and wellness products and practices available.
