Together, let’s put an end to deteriorating health

Let Food Be Your Medicine—Wild Blueberry

Dear Friends

We arrived in New York a week ago on the weekend to prepare for a week of seeing doctors in the big city.  I love New York City, so alive.  One of my favorite things to do is to run in Central Park.  A week ago, Saturday, on my run, they were setting up in the park for the Susan G. Komen Run

It’s a very big deal.  Susan G. Komen is the world’s largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to curing breast cancer with $2.2 billion invested to date.   Their goal is to fight every minute of every day to save the more than 10 million women around the world that could die from breast cancer in the next 25 years without the cure.

When I got back to our hotel from my run I found that Dohrea had emailed me an article from No Camels- Israeli Innovation News entitled, Researcher Discovers Cell-Destroying Protein That May Help Eradicate Cancer. Very exciting article, perhaps we can bring the Komen Foundation and the Israeli researcher together.   Just sent an email to the Komen Foundation to that effect.

We’ve been focusing over the last couple of newsletters on how Therapeutic Foods help in the fight to prevent and stop cancer?  In the August 18th Forward Thinking we looked at pesticides, their prevelence in all non organic fruits, vegetables and grains and seeds, and their impact in various foods as carcinogens.  In August 31st’s newsletter we highlighted the Cruciferous Sprout Complex and its cancer fighting potential.  In the September 5th Forward Thinking we looked at Number 7 Systemic booster with its organic pomegranate extract, a powerful reducer for prostate cancers.  And, in today’s Clinical Notes, we’ll focus on the Wild Blueberry Extract which blocks/inhibits 4 out of 5 stages of cancer development.

Wild Blue Ex 2

Sincerely yours,

Seann Bardell

Clinical Notes:

Kausar H, Jeyabalan J et al demonstrated, in their research entitled Berry anthocyanidins synergistically suppress growth and invasive potential of human non-small-cell lung cancer cells, that a mixture of blueberry, bilberry and blackberry rich in anthocyanidins- cynanidin, malvidin, peonidin, petunidin and delphinidin, showed for the first time that the combination synergistically inhibited two aggressive non-small-cell lung cancer cell lines, with minimal effects on non-tumorigenic cell viability.  The induction of cell-cycle arrest, apoptosis, suppression of NSCLC cell invasion and migration were significantly greater with the mixture than with individual anthocyanidins.  One of the reasons we like to use the low bush blueberry, in our Wild blueberry Extract, is because it has an extremely wide diversity of anthocyanins.

A suggested daily protocol for protection:

  • Organic Chlorella- 4 tabs daily
  • Ultra Minerals- 4 tabs daily
  • Phyto Power- 2 capsules daily
  • Cruciferous Sprouts Complex- 2 capsules daily
  • Wild Blueberry Extract- 1 capsule daily
  • Pick one of our probiotic (synbiotic) products for daily use: the Original Synbiotic, Beta Glucan Synbiotic, High ORAC Synbiotic, Triple Berry Probiotic, Supernatant Synbiotic, Cranberry Pomegranate Synbiotic or the Number 7 Systemic Booster. They are all excellent.

No herbacides or pesticides used on the fields of harvest for our products.

The Last Quiz Answer:

This menacing looking creature is a moray eel from the outter islands of Hawaii.  There are around 200 different species of moray eel that can range in size from just 10cm long to nearly 2 meters in length.  Their mouths have very large teeth as you can sort of see in this photo.  The mory eel is often one of the most dominant predators within its environment but morays are also hunted by some larger creatures like groupers, barracudas, sharks and humans.  They will bite if provoked.  It’s best to respect their space for sure.

New Fukushima leak puts spotlight on plant operator again.

This news that 300 tons of highly toxic water has leaked from a storage tank brings to our attention that Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant is still leaking nuclear radiation into the Pacific Ocean.  At the present most experts are saying that only consuming fish caught in Japanese waters puts a person at possible risks of cancer due to the radiation levels.
What about the 45 million pounds of fish from Japan exported to the US in 2012?
Houston, we’ve got a problem!!!
