Weight Loss, Diabetes, and Brain Power: A Unifying Element

We have spoken of the relationship between diabetes and weight, and the one layer of cells in our gut that can make a difference between health and dis-ease.

This one layered cells, called monolayer or single columnar epithelium, is not only responsible for a healthy gut, and an effortless connection of the gut – brain axis, but it is also the determining power, or the unifying element, for true longevity.

The scientific field of Longevity studies the root causes of chronic illnesses, including diabetes, weight, and the cognitive abilities of the brain. It is not merely the absence of disease but the experience of a true vibrant health.

Knowledge is power, so let's explore a few articles that shed light on feeling better:  We have studied Sulforaphens from broccoli sprouts in many of our articles, covering topics such as Alzheimer's, Osteoarthritis, including last week's Article , exploring its effect on the gut and the monolayer.

Today we will look at B glucans which is showing in research to aid glycemic control in diabetes, contribute to weight loss and management, and create a healthy microbiota in the gut for a strong and tight junctions in the monolayer of the gut.

Beta Glucan is Powerfully Nourishing - it is one of our first product we designed with great intention to effect the heart - gut - liver - and brain. It is systemic and unifying in its ability to support healing and health.

As in the usual BioImmersion way, I have several articles that will expand your knowledge and information on diabetes, weight loss, and brain power, along with heart health, and a healthy - happy gut.

Enjoy!

Yours as Always,

Dohrea Bardell, PhD
