Merry Christmas: Graceful Living

I do love Christmas. The lights, music, gifts, and yes, holiday food and cookies. Such sweetness all around us.

Most of all, I am at awe with the cheerfulness and spirit of giving. Once a year leading toward the Christmas holiday there is a prevailing sense of joy. 

I know the holiday has turned very commercial - with too many ads and the continued loud noise of marketing gifts and more gifts. 

And yet, the grace of the holiday touches us deeply. We give because we love and care about others. We give out of joy and thoughtful considerations. We give because we are in our core built in goodness.

Christmas embodies the light of being a human and I consider that to be the grace of the Divine residing in us. 

My prayers for you and your family is the continuation of that graceful living and joy.
