Fructo Borate: Anti-adipogenesis Mechanism (Anti-obesity)
A new research by Çil & Soysal (2025) finds Fructo Borate to have powerful anti-obesity properties.
Boron has been known to be an effective weight loss agent, not only for a short period of (weight loss) time but for a long term weight management (Aysan et al., 2011; Kucukkurt et al., 2015).
But the exact boron mechanism, or the how of the weight loss process and management has been a mystery. Until very recently.
In 2017 Doğan et al. findings were exciting - a new hope for people with a tendency to be overweight or obese: the article in Metabolism announced that "boron inhibits adipogenesis in progenitor cells through the Wnt/β-catenin pathway."
Çil & Soysal (2025) study was focused upon the mechanism in itself: boron inhibitory mechanism on fat cells, or more accurately, how boron acts as an anti-adipogenesis agent. In essence, boron prevents stem cells from turning into mature fat cells. This means that boron can be preventative and therapeutic for weight loss.
You recall our article on Boron as the Molecule of Life: A master molecule that is in charge of the fundamental functions in the body, from building, healing, and repairing to regeneration - maintaining balance and harmony in the body.
And now we understand boron's ability to inhibit stem cells not to turn into fat cells. It is quite the surprise.
Since obesity is a worldwide issue that leads to chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, a master molecule that helps to prevent or supports a weight loss is a great discovery.
It is not easy to lose weight, and drugs have too many debilitating side effects. It is the reason we rejoice to see boron's ability to encourage healthier life continues to unfold.
The articles are exciting!

Yours as Always,
Dohrea Bardell, PhD
